Red Bull Dance Your Style Comes to Sapporo City on July 5, 2025

This week the City of Sapporo will proudly host the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2025 National Final Japan – a street dance competition featuring 16 dancers, where the winner is determined by the noise of the crowd.

This is all happening in the street near Mitsukoshi and PARCO – and it’s a free event.

Red Bull Dance Your Style in Sapporo, Japan

– Date: Saturday, July 5, 2025
– Time: Opens at 13:30, starts 14:00, ends at 16:00
– Location: On the street between Mitsukoshi Departo and PARCO (at Odori Station)
– Cost: Free to watch

Sapporo is the host city for dancers from all across Japan, as the dance competition provides the opportunity for finalists to qualify for the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final (to be held in Los Angeles, USA in October).

“Red Bull Dance Your Style celebrates street dance in a battle with unpredictable music, crowd-voting and outgoing dance personalities.”

The competition is a head-to-head “battle” format, where two dancers face off to see who can create the most hype in the crowd. The dancers bring their own style, but the song is a surprise selected by the Red Bull DJ. Songs for the competition include well-known tracks from hip-hop, house, and more.

16 Dancers at Red Bull Dance Your Style in Sapporo

Red Bull Dance Your Style in Sapporo is an invite-only dance battle event, with 16 pre-qualified dancers from a variety of styles in a live competition to deliver the best performance for the crowd.

Dancers in the Sapporo Red Bull Dance Your Style include MAiKA, 勇太, Beni, NENE, Chris Ackey, ＄(ドル), RINKA, illbilly dude, CanDoo, SEINA, Füka, BLVST, CHAA, ゆずもん, ta!sei?¿, and Diamondkaede.

The Red Bull Dance event in Sapporo will be emceed by MACCHAN, and the DJ for the event is Japan’s DJ Moka.
